Guido Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: October 8, 2026

The short version

Guido plays guided-route content around Bled. Location permission can support route features, while a recorded route replay is not a recording of your own location. Streaming media, opening a paid-tour checkout and sending feedback each expose different information.

Who is responsible

This policy covers Guido and its PZB-operated download, support and connected services. PZB, Prestolnica Zdravja Bled, d.o.o. (PZB d.o.o.), Ljubljanska cesta 8, 4260 Bled, Slovenia, is responsible for its own app-operation, support and commercial records. Registration number: 6305733000. VAT ID: SI74779931. For business apps, the organisation using the service can be the controller of its customer, staff or guest records; the relevant distinction is explained below.

For privacy questions, access or deletion requests, email info@pzb.si and mention Guido. You can also write to our postal address above. This app policy is separate from the pzb.si website privacy policy.

Routes, playback and device permissions

Guido stores app preferences and uses route, media and playback information to present the selected tour. Its Android manifest requests precise/coarse location for location-aware route functionality, internet/network state for media and service access, and installation permission for direct APK updates. Only grant location if you want the relevant feature; a prerecorded route/video replay is not evidence that your own trip has been recorded or uploaded.

The current test guide uses Android text-to-speech narration and streamed video. The selected speech engine and media host process requests according to their own settings and policies. Network requests expose your IP address, requested route/media URL, time and normal request metadata; that can reveal which guide or clip you selected.

Paid tours and support

Guido shows tour products and opens a bled.net secure payment handoff after you choose to continue. The tour reference, transaction information and contact details you supply are used to fulfil the purchase and provide support. The chosen payment provider handles payment details under its own policy; ordinary guide playback does not require you to give PZB full payment-card details.

The feedback service accepts a message and optional screenshot/attachment, plus supplied app/build, installation and device context. We use these to understand route, playback and installation problems. Check attachments before sending them: they can contain location or other personal information. Update checks and downloads on w3f.eu also create ordinary server-request information.

Purposes, legal bases and recipients

PZB processes purchase/service information to provide the requested tour or contract, support and connection information for legitimate interests in reliability and security, and necessary commercial records to comply with law. Optional permission or consent-based processing can be declined or withdrawn; the associated feature may then be unavailable.

Recipients depend on your action: the route/media host, selected Android speech service, service infrastructure/support providers and checkout/payment providers. We do not sell personal data. An external provider can process information outside the EEA under its own arrangements; restricted transfers undertaken by PZB require applicable GDPR safeguards.

Retention, deletion and device backup

Local settings and playback information remain until reset or app-owned storage is cleared. The Android app permits system backup, subject to the device/provider configuration. Exports, downloaded files saved outside app storage and device backups may need separate deletion.

Email info@pzb.si to request deletion of hosted feedback or purchase/account information, identifying Guido and the relevant email, order or installation reference where available. Uninstalling does not delete those records. Support information is kept while needed to resolve issues or related disputes; commercial records can require legal retention. We do not promise an unsupported fixed automatic purge interval. PZB's documented service links use HTTPS; device security and selected third-party services also affect privacy.

Children and real-world safety

Guido is not designed specifically for children. A parent or guardian can contact us about personal information a child has supplied. Location-aware narration and route replay are guide features, not a guarantee of safe navigation, route accessibility or suitable conditions.

Your rights and how to contact us

Under the GDPR, where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not undo processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Contact info@pzb.si with the app name and enough information to locate your records, such as the email used for a purchase, order reference or installation identifier. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary activity files. We may ask for proportionate verification and normally respond within one month, subject to lawful extensions. We explain any records we must retain.

You can complain to Slovenia's Information Commissioner or your local data-protection authority.

Changes to this policy

The date above identifies the current policy. We will update it when app features or data handling change. A policy update alone does not authorize a new use of sensitive data: where required, the app must explain the change and request permission or consent before that processing begins.
